Bio
Lulo Calio is a globally awarded Creative Chairman and founder of a new-generation communication company, The Black Table Company, built to help brands move faster, think sharper, and create with real impact in an AI-driven world.
His career in advertising began in 1998 at FCB Buenos Aires, quickly scaling to Y&R Buenos Aires as an art director working on brands like Citibank, Converse, Revlon, Miller, and Ford. In 2006, he returned to FCB (DraftFCB) as Creative Director, leading regional and global assignments and becoming Argentina’s most awarded creative in 2012, helping position the agency as the top Argentinian performer at Cannes Lions.
In 2012, Lulo joined DAVID as Global Creative Director, partnering with industry leaders Gaston Bigio, Anselmo Ramos, and Fernando Musa. There, he worked on global brands like Coca-Cola, Burger King, Unilever, and Staples, contributing to DAVID’s rise as one of the top agencies in the world according to the Gunn Report.
He later held leadership roles at SANTO Buenos Aires and returned to FCB as Chief Creative Officer, where he led award-winning work for brands like Jeep, Clorox, and Nivea.
In 2018, he founded Togetherwith, an independent agency network that quickly scaled across Buenos Aires, Mexico, Louisville, Miami, and New York. Under his leadership, Togetherwith became a benchmark for creativity and business innovation, ultimately leading to its acquisition by a U.S. holding company.
With over 35 Cannes Lions and multiple recognitions from Clio, LIA, The One Show, FIAP, El Sol, and El Círculo de Creatividad Argentina, Lulo has also served as President at El Ojo de Iberoamérica and as a jury member at Cannes Lions and New York Festivals.
Today, through The Black Table Company, Lulo leads a borderless operation across Mexico, Argentina, and the U.S., combining creativity, strategy, and AI-powered production to build ideas that travel, scale, and drive business. His vision is simple: create a bigger table where nothing is off limits—and where the best ideas win.
He holds degrees in Graphic Design and Film Direction from the University of Buenos Aires.
