Lulo Calio's advertising career kicked off in 1998 at FCB, Buenos Aires. In 2000, his impressive portfolio caught the eye of Y&R Buenos Aires, where he was hired as an art director. During his time there, he worked on major brands like Citibank, Converse, Revlon, Miller, and Ford. His career momentum surged in 2006 when he transitioned to DraftFCB as a creative director, where he took on regional and global projects. After five impactful years, Lulo became Argentina’s most-awarded creative director in 2012, helping FCB earn recognition as the top Argentinian agency at the Cannes Lions in both 2011 and 2012.

In 2012, Lulo stepped into a pivotal role at DAVID, Ogilvy's creative hub, after being approached by industry leaders Gaston Bigio, Anselmo Ramos, and Fernando Musa. As Global Creative Director, he worked with powerhouse brands like Coca-Cola, Burger King, Unilever, and Staples, playing a key role in DAVID's rise to become one of the top three agencies globally, as ranked by the Gunn Report. The agency was also named Argentina’s Agency of the Year for two consecutive years under his leadership.

In 2014, Lulo joined SANTO Buenos Aires, WPP’s creative hub, as Global Creative Director, overseeing projects for Coca-Cola and Avon, among others. By the end of 2015, he took on the role of Chief Creative Officer at FCB Buenos Aires. In just under two years, Lulo and his team produced award-winning work for major clients such as Clorox, Jeep, and Nivea.

Lulo’s career has been decorated with over 35 Cannes Lions, along with accolades from prestigious festivals such as Clio, LIA, The One Show, FIAP, El Sol, and El Círculo de Creatividad Argentina. He has served as President at El Ojo de Iberoamérica and was a member of the 2023 Cannes Lions Jury, as well as twice on the Executive Jury for NYF.

Currently, Lulo is the Chief Creative Officer & Founding Partner at Togetherwith, an independent agency with offices in Buenos Aires, Mexico, and New York. He leads the agency's creative and content direction and oversees business development in Mexico.

He holds degrees in graphic design and film direction from the University of Buenos Aires and is the proud father of two little beasts.
